I AM! Exploring What Jesus Said about Himself
Sunday, February 22-Thursday, April 2

WHO IS JESUS IN HIS OWN WORDS? Join us as we kick off a 6-week Lenten journey through the “I AM” statements of Jesus from the Gospel of John. In these powerful statements, Jesus tells us plainly who He is and what it means to know and follow Him. Each week, we’ll take a closer look at His words and what they mean for our relationship with Him. Come be part of it as we grow together this Lenten season every Sunday starting at 11am in person or online!

Please join us for our next Ladies’ Lunch at the newest Athenian Grill location—3801 Mall Road, near Fayette Mall! Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, the first standalone restaurant opened in 2013. Today, Pappas serves delicious Greek favorites—including gyros, falafel, and lamb chops—made from cherished family recipes. For more about Pappas’ story and his food, check out Shannon Clinton’s recent article in Smiley Pete. As always, please RSVP to Ariel Gobert or Jan Allen if you plan to attend!

Palm Parade on Palm Sunday
Sunday, March 29, during Worship

Join us on Palm Sunday as we worship and remember Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. During our service, we will read the Gospel passage that tells of the crowds shouting “Hosanna!”, laying palm branches before Him, and welcoming their King with praise and expectation. We’ll invite our children to the front for a brief children’s sermon, a joyful song, and the passing out of palm fronds. Together, they’ll help lead us in waving the palms, celebrating this sacred moment in the life of Christ and the beginning of Holy Week. It’s a beautiful, interactive morning for all ages as we lift our voices, open Scripture, and prepare our hearts to follow Jesus toward the cross and the hope of Easter.

Palm Sunday

Maundy Thursday
Thursday, April 2, 6PM, Trinity Hall

Join us for our Maundy Thursday Communion service at Walnut Hill where we’ll gather in Trinity Hall  for prayer, a short message, special music, communion, and hand washing. This service commemorates the Last Supper, when Jesus shared bread and cup with his disciples and gave the commandment to love one another. Maundy Thursday also recalls Jesus washing the disciples’ feet, modeling humble, servant leadership. The service is brief but deeply meaningful, offering space for reflection as we enter Holy Week and move toward Good Friday and Easter. All are welcome to attend, participate, and remember Christ’s love.  Come early, settle your hearts, and prepare to walk with Jesus through the days ahead together!
