Mission Fair, Sunday September 28

Its that time of year!

We hope you’ll feel inspired to check out both the new and long standing ways in which Walnut Hill is serving the community. Information about each of our missions will be available in Trinity Hall after worship on Sunday, September 28th. Along with refreshments, of course!  All are encouraged to stop by and show support for the various opportunities we have to be the “hands and feet” of God’s love for our neighbors.

Sips and Saints – Wednesday, October 1 @ 6pm

All ladies are invited to join in a discussion of the book GRATITUDE: Why Giving Thanks is the Key to Our Well-Being, by Cornelius Plantiga. Ariel Gobert has graciously invited us to meet at her lovely home at 6pm. If you feel so inclined, please bring nibbles to share. Hope to see you there! Questions? Blessing of the Animals, Sunday October 5 @ 11AM

Our furry friends are invited to join us for worship on the lawn this day. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and your four legged companions for a message, prayer, songs and a special blessing.  Actually, 2 legs are welcome too! Swissy Missy the chicken was a big hit last year. ;)

2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Sunday October 5

Walnut Hill church family and friends know all too well the impacts of this dreadful disease. Consider marking your calendar to walk. All funds raised through the walk further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Kentucky Horse Park. Event Opens at 1:30 – Ceremony at 2:30 – Walk at 3:00.

CROP Walk, Sunday October 12

This annual tradition helps raise funds and raise awareness for God’s Food Pantry and Church World Services – two organizations working to minimize food insecurities and much, much more.

Nell Horman leads the Walnut Hill team each year, and never disappoints. Walkers of all ages can easily participate in this community event. Mark your calendar and stay tuned for more details.
