Holy Week 2025
Please join us for Holy Week at Walnut Hill Church, where we will hold the following services in recognition of our Savior’s crucifixion and in celebration of His resurrection:
Maundy Thursday, April 17, 6PM
On Thursday, we will commemorate Christ’s Last Supper with the Apostles where he gave his final commandment, or mandatum: “As I have loved you, so you must love one another” (John 13:34).’ Join us for a short message from Pastor Shawn, communion, and special music by Julie Griggs. Childcare will be available during this service!
Sunrise Service, Sunday, April 20, 6:45AM
Our annual, outdoor “Sunrise Service” will be held Easter morning beginning at 6:45am (if it rains, we will hold the service indoors😉). We will gather in the breezeway and front of the sanctuary as we did last year. Chairs will be available; however, if you are looking for a more comfortable, cushioned seat, you may want to bring one of your own! Coffee and donuts will be served to keep all those in attendance warm.
Easter Service, Sunday, April, 20, 11AM
Our traditional Easter service will be held at 11AM, followed by our annual Easter Egg Hunt featuring 1,000 easter eggs and a visit from the Easter Bunny! We ask our congregation members to please bring a plate of Easter goodies to share with everyone our our celebration following worship. Family, friends, and guests are always welcome, and, especially, at this service!
