Nathaniel Mission Esperanza Club | 2026-7 School Year
Help the Nathaniel Mission bring hope to 30 children during the 2026–27 school year! The Esperanza Club serves Cardinal Valley Elementary students in grades 1–5 with after-school snacks, physical activity, reading and academic support, Bible study, and engaging enrichment activities with caring adults who encourage students and remind them they are loved by God.
Sponsor a child for $50/month or $600/year. You can also become a prayer partner, volunteer weekly, or provide a meal for a monthly Family Night. To get involved, contact Meghan Talley at mtalley@nathanielmission.com or 859-255-0062 ext. 104.
Tates Creek Community Coalition Pizza Parties | 2026-7 School Year
Join Walnut Hill Church volunteers at Tates Creek Community Center, 3460 Campus Way, after school to serve pizza and snacks and offer caring encouragement to students from Millcreek Elementary, Tates Creek Elementary, Middle School, and High School. This outreach supports our goal of deepening engagement with local mission partners.
We will serve on the third Wednesday of each month starting around 3:30PM: October 21, 2026; November 18, 2026; December 16, 2026; January 20, 2027; February 17, 2027; March 17, 2027; April 21, 2027; and May 19, 2027.

After Worship Refreshments
We are so grateful to our members and friends who help create a welcoming time of fellowship following worship each Sunday. This special half hour together is made possible by volunteers like you!
Refreshments can be simple—whatever is easiest for you to provide. In the past, we’ve enjoyed everything from cookies and lemonade to finger sandwiches, chips, fruit, and crackers with dips.
To sign up, please complete our form with your name, email, and preferred date from the dropdown menu. All listed Sundays are currently available. You’ll receive a confirmation email shortly after submitting your request.

The Catholic Action Center’s Sandwich Ministry
WHC has provided volunteers for the Catholic Action Center’s Sandwich Ministry every fourth Sunday of the month since June 2011. This volunteer opportunity involves gathering supplies, preparing 75-100 sandwiches, and delivering them to the Catholic Action Center for dispersal to men and women in need.
To sign up, please use the booking form below. Dates without names beneath are currently available. Please remember that this opportunity is only available on the fourth Sunday of each month.

Instructions for food preparation and delivery are as follow:
- Prepare 75 – 100 sandwiches of any type (no mayo please!)
- Cut them in half
- Place them in a covered container that you do not need returned
- Deliver between 8AM and 8PM on the date of which you’ve signed up
- Bring them to the kitchen door on the left side of the building. Ring the doorbell and our core kitchen volunteers will retrieve them!
